Your Impact in Hitsats and Beyond: Empowerment, Education, and Hope
We hope everyone enjoyed a blessed holiday season. With the generous support of our partners, we are opening new doors of economic empowerment for impoverished mothers in Adigudem and Atsbi through jobtraining programs in goat farming, agriculture, and other livelihoodbuilding skills that strengthen longterm stability.
We also responded to the severe drought in Hitsats, providing urgent food assistance to families facing unimaginable hardship. Your compassion restored dignity, renewed hope, and reminded the people of Hitsats that they are not forgotten.
This season marked our 9th anniversary—a celebration of shared purpose, where your kindness meets the resilience of the women and children we serve. It also marked our first year awarding scholarship funds, inviting students to reflect on the question: “How can we make peace between individuals and within society?” Their thoughtful essays showed deep insight and a genuine desire for a more peaceful world. Even modest scholarships carry great meaning in Tigray, easing financial burdens and encouraging students to continue their education.
Because of your generosity, mothers are gaining new skills, children are receiving support, and the next generation is being empowered through education. Your commitment is creating real and lasting change. Because of you, there is more to come for the mothers in need.
