SOCIO-Economic Empowerment of DALIT WOMEN through Micro-Enterprises to LIVE THEMSELVES “
Summary
Microcredit Marvels is a transformative project dedicated to empowering women through microfinance initiatives. Our goal is to provide access to small loans and financial resources, enabling women to start and grow their own five businesses. By fostering economic independence and entrepreneurship, we aim to uplift women from marginalized Dalit communities, fostering sustainable development and positive social change.
Challenge
This project aims to address the lack of access to financial resources and opportunities for rural poor women in south India, particularly those from marginalized communities. In many regions, women face significant barriers when trying to start or expand their businesses due to limited access to traditional banking systems, lack of collateral and societal norms that discourage female entrepreneurship.
Solution
This project addresses the problem of financial exclusion and limited opportunities for women by implementing the following solutions: Microfinance Initiatives, Financial Training, Support a Gender-Focused Approach, Empowerment, and Agency, Sustainable Impact, Partnerships, and Collaboration. Overall, the Microcredit Marvels project enables women to break free from financial constraints, fosters entrepreneurship and paves the way for a more inclusive and equitable society.
