Educate 225 Kids by Sending Them to Preschool

As we reach the midpoint of 2026, we're excited to share how your support has helped our youngest learners begin the year with confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Thank you for trusting OBAT Helpers and believing in our mission to provide quality early childhood education to children from some of Bangladesh's most underserved communities. Your support through GlobalGiving is giving children the strong educational foundation they need to succeed in school and beyond.

During the first months of 2026, our three Chittagong preschool centers provided a safe, engaging learning environment for 176 students (77 boys and 99 girls). Through interactive lessons, children developed essential literacy and numeracy skills by learning Bangla and English letters, numbers, shapes, colors, seasons, and vocabulary. Storytelling, music, poetry, and creative classroom activities made learning both meaningful and fun.

To ensure every child receives the best possible start, we also held regular teacher training, equipping educators with improved handwriting and teaching techniques in Bangla, English, and mathematics. Parent meetings strengthened collaboration between families and teachers by promoting attendance, health, hygiene, discipline, and learning at home.

Our students always share how much they love coming to school each day to learn, play with friends, and participate in poetry, singing, and classroom activities. This remind us that early education is about much more than academics—it nurtures confidence, creativity, and hope for the future.
