Jambo,
Because of your belief in our mission, our campus is filled with more than just lessons, they are filled with record-breaking success and vibrant, joyful energy.
We are reaching out today to share some incredible progress that your support has made possible across every grade level.Over the last several months, we have watched our students show tremendous dedication to their studies. That hard work recently culminated in a truly proud moment: Our Class 7 students outperformed their peers across the region on several key exams. In Tanzania, these exams are a critical gateway to future opportunities. Seeing our students not only pass but lead the pack is a testament to their resilience and the quality of the environment you help us provide.
The seeds of that success are being planted right now with our youngest learners. We are thrilled to report that our newest students are quickly grasping their letters and numbers. Learning a new language at such a young age is a daunting challenge, but our students never back down. Watching them bridge the gap between swahili, their tribal languages and their schoolwork is a daily reminder of why this work matters.
But it isn't all work and no play! When the books close, the real energy comes out. We are proud to report that our students are avid footballers, enthusiastic jump ropers, and easily the best tag players around. Hearing their laughter on the playing field is just as rewarding as seeing their high marks on an exam.
Your contributions have directly funded the resources for our youngest learners to master a new language. In addition to the learning materials that challenged our Class 7 students to excel. And most importantly, the stable, supportive environment where children feel safe enough to learn, play, and just be kids.
While we celebrate their academic victories, the true "win" is the confidence and joy these children now carry. They no longer just hope for a bright future, they are proving they have the skills and the spirit to build one.
Thank you for being the backbone of Ikirwa School. We couldn’t do this without you.
With deep gratitude,
Rose Hogan
