Dear Supporter,
The summer saw the end of the latest Y-Peer programme where between 35 and 40 young people had gone through a series of 10 workshops across the academic year.
At each of the 3 centres where your support has enabled the workshops to take place, the young people reflected on the experience of being part of the programme. They reviewed “Me Before and After Y-Peer Moldova” and “The Y-Peer Influence on My Life”.
For these young people it is not an over-exaggeration to say that their lives have been transformed. Let’s hear it from them:
“I learned to leave my comfort zone and to express my opinions”
“I have learned to live without prejudices, to love my body and to be careful about what is happening around me”
“I will miss Y-Peer workshops because they were able to bring us useful information through interactive methods”
“When I grow up I will apply for Y-Peer trainings in the capital”
As Y-Peer themselves note, every end is a new beginning. The activities will have a huge impact on young lives and society.
And now, so long as the funding continues to be available, we prepare for the next cohort of young people. We hope that you will wish to be part of continuing to change lives so dramatically.
