Thank You for Planting Seeds of Change

Your generous donations have watered the seeds of transformation. Because of you, I-SEEED Youths has expanded its reach, deepened its impact, and inspired real change for children, families, and entire communities across Jamaica.

Your support has made it all possible, from gardens in schoolyards to art studios filled with laughter and healing.

How We Utilized Your Donations

Thanks to the funds provided through GlobalGiving, especially in the wake of Tropical Storm Beryl, we wer able to deliver tangible, life-changing results:

  • Emergency Relief & Recovery (Beryl Assistance)
Following the storm, hundreds of families received urgent food support and supplies, and even rebuilding of homes. The relief brought not just nourishment but hope during a deeply uncertain time.

“We lost our roof and most of our crops… but because of the help we got through I-SEEED and GlobalGiving, our children didn’t go hungry or sleep outside. We are grateful beyond words.” – Mrs. Cole, mother of four in Clarendon

  • Feeding Program – Now Islandwide!
With your help, our school feeding initiative has expanded across multiple parishes. Over 2,300 meals have been served to students in need and counting.

“Knowing our students have something healthy to eat each day helps them focus, learn, and dream bigger.” – Teacher Henry, St. Catherine

  • Youth Agripreneurship Training
Over 370 young people in its entirety are trained in climate-smart farming, greenhouse production, and agribusiness planning, empowering the next generation of agri-leaders.

  • Art-Based Healing for Survivors & Youth
Our Art That Heals, Creativity That Empowers pilot reached survivors of domestic violence and at-risk youth through storytelling, painting, music, and drama. Participants are already reporting reduced stress and improved confidence.

New Projects & Growing Partnerships

We’re excited to share that UNDP has come on board with new funding to scale our initiatives, including:

  • Developing our 10-acre agro-tourism hub with youth-run tours, school visits, and a farm-to-table diner.

  • Equipping more youth and community members through green job training, and expanding our healing programs.

  • Enhancing food security and entrepreneurial capacity across vulnerable populations.

Marlin Avenue Basic School: A Model of Hope

Thanks to our Bake & Cake Sale fundraiser, we raised essential funds to support infrastructure and learning resources for Marlin Avenue Basic School. And that was just the beginning:

  • Adoption & School Garden Project
We’ve now adopted the school under our I-SEEED School Gardens Program. Children learn how to grow their own food, understand nutrition, and respect the earth.

  • Fruits Day Initiative
Each month, students participate in Fruits Day, where they learn about and enjoy local produce. The smiles, excitement, and joy are priceless, and we’re thrilled to announce this program will be expanded to the new I-SEEED Academy.

“My son came home and asked to plant tomatoes like he did at school. That never happened before. Now our whole family is planting together!” – Ms. Nadeen, parent

Why This Matters – And How You Can Keep It Going

From climate-smart farms to creative classrooms, your support through GlobalGiving has made a lasting difference.

But we’re not done.

We’re now on a mission to:

  • Expand our feeding program to reach every parish in Jamaica.

  • Launch the I-SEEED Academy, a center for excellence in education, innovation, and empowerment.

  • Bring more youth into sustainable agriculture, creative healing, and community leadership.

“This project brings love and light into our children’s lives. Please don’t stop, this work is saving futures.” – Pastor Edwards, community leader

We Invite You to Continue Growing With Us

Your donations are more than gifts. They are lifelines, launchpads, and legacies. With every dollar, you are saying “Yes, I believe in the future of Jamaica’s children and families.”

Together, we can continue this momentum. Let’s feed more children, heal more hearts, and grow more hope.
