Education would help an individual to survive better with the knowledge gained and to regular activities in the most appropriate way. It would guide us in moving in the right way to handle any kind of situation. Also, it certainly provides the certain skills necessary for using the technology. The practice of institutionalizing the blind in asylums has a history extending back over a thousand years.
Braille has been a very effective reading and writing medium for many blind and visually impaired persons, and knowledge of Braille provides numerous tangible and intangible benefits, including increased likelihood of obtaining productive employment and heightened self-esteem.
Our IAB organization cum institution is providing vocational and adaptive training, as well as grounding in academic subjects offered through special formats. A combination of necessary training tailored to the unique needs of each student, and solid academics, is going a long way towards producing blind and visually impaired students capable of dealing with the world independently.
Students are also supported with Assistive devices, laptops, voice recorders that could help them in gaining knowledge in the most easiest and effective way through which the lessons are pre-recorded for them. Great thanks to the supporters and well-wishers of IAB who are behind the success of these kids.
