A special trip for our winners of the week

By Silke Gadeyne | Marketing Manager

Each week we choose a “winner of the week”, a student that did the best during the week or improved most according to our volunteers. This student gets crowned the winner of the week and not only receives an extra gift and a tree to plant somewhere in the village, but they are also invited to join our volunteer coordinators on a game drive.

Every few months, the winners of the previous weeks get to go on the game drive. It’s an incredible experience for these children because most of them have never been on one and would otherwise never get the opportunity to go on one.

This last game drive was sponsored by Tshukudu who let us go on the drive for free. The kids had the time of their lives and this was definitely a day they’ll never forget!
