Dear Sponsors,

We are thrilled to share the achievements of our Inspiring Youth to Care for Nature and Wildlife program for the year 2024! Thanks to your generous support, we were able to reach and inspire 314 children and 23 unemployed youth through our educational programs.

Program Highlights:

  • 314 Children from Grade 8 participated in our week-long environmental education programs. These children came from five local schools: Lepono, Maahlamele, Diphuti, Nareng, and Molomahlapi.
  • 23 Youth took part in our Job Hunting Program, gaining valuable skills and insights to improve their employability in the environmental and conservation sectors.

Special Experiences for Our Winners:
Each week, standout students were rewarded for their dedication and learning. These winners enjoyed unforgettable game drives courtesy of Sausage Tree Safari Lodge and Tshukudu Game Lodge. Additionally, Hoedspruit Reptile Park and Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre generously hosted our winners, offering them a unique opportunity to experience wildlife conservation efforts firsthand.

Impact and Growth:
The attached pictures showcase the success of our program and the remarkable improvement in the children's knowledge about the environment and wildlife. Your support has played a crucial role in making this transformation possible.

Thank You!
We are deeply grateful for your ongoing support. Your donations have made a lasting impact, helping us educate and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards. Together, we are fostering a brighter, more sustainable future.

With heartfelt thanks,

The DAKTARI Team
