Dear Sponsors,
As we move through the first half of 2025, we’re happy to share a brief update from our Inspiring Youth to Care for Nature and Wildlife program. Thanks to your support, we continue to empower young people with knowledge, confidence, and practical tools for the future.
Since the beginning of the year, we’ve welcomed over 120 children from rural villages to take part in our week-long environmental education camp. They’ve explored topics like conservation, ecosystems, and responsible living — while forming deep connections with the rescued animals they care for during their stay.
At the heart of our work is a desire to help young people dream bigger. That’s why, this week and for the next three weeks, our full focus is on our Job Hunting Program. These sessions help unemployed youth gain essential skills like CV writing, interview practice, and exposure to career opportunities — especially in conservation and eco-tourism. We want them to leave DAKTARI feeling not only inspired, but prepared.
Every visit reminds us how much potential these young people carry. They write letters, sing songs, and open up to a future they may never have imagined before arriving here.
Thank you for helping us make this possible — your support truly builds brighter futures.
With gratitude,
The DAKTARI Team
