 IMPACT STORY !**

CHHASE works for educational development of under privileged/ tribal children significantly. In order to enhance the knowledge of spoken English of children, the organization distributed Spoken English course books to our children. Sangeeta, the after school teacher shares a success story in the report.

My name is Sangeeta and I have been associating with CHHASE in its social developmental work. Being a after school teacher in CHHASE, I am also working for educational development of under privileged/ tribal children. We found that the under privileged/ tribal children in rural region don't give much importance to English due to which the children have little or no knowledge of English. CHHASE, with the financial aid of GlobalGiving Foundation, distributed spoken English & grammer books to our after school education centre in Pudupet six months ago. MOHANA is one of the child who is studying in after school education centre also got the book.

Mohana was weak in English and didn't get proper knowledge of the subject in the school. Even after studying in 9th standard, Mohana didn't know to read and write and speak in English. Six months ago, when she got English Speaking book she found the right way to learn English. After attending school, she read the book at her home and learned English. She learned many more by doing regular practice with the help of the book. Now, she reads English chapters and poems without any break and hesitation in the school and also talks in English. The knowledge of English has made her a hero in the formal school. Mohana told others that learning English was not a difficult task, with the help of regular practice we could read and speak in English so easily. CHHASE made the right way to learn English that was followed by Mohana in right manner and experienced the benefits. Mohana thanks CHHASE and GlobalGiving Foundation.
