On June 8, 2026, we celebrated the opening of Christel House India Thane, our fourth school in India and the second new school that Christel House India has launched this year. Located in the Mumbai metropolitan region, the school welcomed 180 students in Kindergarten through Grade 2, marking the beginning of a journey that will open doors to opportunity, achievement, and brighter futures.
As Christel House India CEO Jaison C Mathew shared, “Many are first-generation learners and behind every child stands a family that believes education can unlock opportunities they themselves probably never have had. Together, they represent the aspirations of a generation.” The opening of Christel House India-Thane was made possible through a visionary partnership with the Thane Municipal Corporation. We extend gratitude to Honorable Mayor Mrs. Sharmila Rohit Pimpalolkar, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Saurabh Rao, IAS, and the entire municipal leadership team for their commitment to expanding educational opportunity for children and families in Thane. Reflecting on the significance of the moment, Mathew noted, “Today, a school opened its doors. Tomorrow, futures will be transformed.”
