In our September 2020 report, we wrote that we had distributed 48 sanitary kits to 48 girls from vulnerable backgrounds. Since then, we haven't received any donations for this project, but we have done some work with the balance of donations received previously.
Activity update
We have managed to distribute the remaining 48 sanitary kits to girls from vulnerable backgrounds. The total number of kits we have distributed so far stands at 96, with 96 girls benefitting as a result. The kits contain one of each of the following items:
The reusable menstrual pads will help cut the cost of purchasing regular sanitary towels for vulnerable girls, many of whom can hardly afford them.
Each kit costs us approximately 3 US dollars. As indicated earlier, we have not received donations for the project for this last period, and we are kindly requesting our supporters to chip in for us to be able to reach more girls in the coming quarter.
