We are delighted to share highlights from the fourth quarter of 2025 at Community Compassion Initiative (CCI). With your continued support, we have expanded our education assistance programmes, providing hope and sustainable support to underprivileged students and families in underserved communities.
Classroom Library Loan
During this quarter, we sustained the Classroom Library Loan Initiative, an innovative response to the growing number of students we serve and the limited availability of staff. Through this initiative, students enjoy daily access to reading materials throughout the school term. This term, two additional schools joined the programme, increasing the number of beneficiaries to over 1,750 students. In addition, our Mobile Library continued to reach even more children across the community.
Food Distribution
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to support 370 families in underserved communities with essential food supplies during the Christmas season.
Your support ensured that families, particularly the elderly and the most vulnerable, many of whom care for grandchildren, were able to enjoy warm, nourishing meals during the holidays. Beyond providing food, your kindness restored dignity, brought comfort, and spread joy during a season that can be especially challenging for many. More than sustenance, you gave hope.
Appreciation
None of these achievements would have been possible without your generosity, prayers, and unwavering support. Every book read by a child and every food supply shared reflects your commitment to improving lives in underserved communities.
The heartfelt messages of gratitude we received and the joy we witnessed this past quarter reaffirm the powerful impact of even the smallest acts of kindness. Thank you for believing in this mission and for standing with us as we continue to transform livesone child at a time.
As the work of CCI continues, we invite you to remain our partners in creating lasting change. Thank you for standing with us. Together, we are building a brighter future for those who need it most.To support our ongoing initiative: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/educate-children-empower-youths-in-a-lagos-slum/
