The Girl Child Foundation Uganda remains committed to creating opportunities for vulnerable girls to access and complete their education. During this reporting period, donor contributions enabled us to provide school fees, uniforms, books, and sanitary pads to girls who face significant financial challenges.
Access to these essential resources has helped reduce absenteeism and allowed girls to focus on their studies without worrying about educational expenses. For many families, this support has eased financial burdens and strengthened their ability to keep their daughters in school.
Beyond academic support, we organized mentorship and life-skills training sessions that focused on confidence building, communication, leadership, and personal development. These activities encouraged girls to believe in their potential and pursue their educational goals with determination.
Our reproductive health education program also continued to equip girls with accurate information about menstrual hygiene, personal health, and adolescent development. Access to sanitary pads and health education has helped many girls attend school consistently throughout the month.
Teachers have reported improved participation and engagement among supported students. Parents have also expressed appreciation for the holistic support that addresses both educational and personal development needs.
As we move forward, we remain dedicated to ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. We thank our donors and supporters for their continued partnership in transforming lives through education and empowerment.
