The Girl Child Foundation Uganda continues to invest in the education and well-being of vulnerable girls through comprehensive support programs. During this reporting period, we provided school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and sanitary pads to beneficiaries facing financial hardship.
For many girls, these resources are the difference between staying in school and dropping out. By reducing financial barriers, we have enabled beneficiaries to attend classes more consistently and participate fully in their education.
In addition to educational support, girls attended mentorship sessions designed to strengthen leadership skills, confidence, and resilience. Through interactions with mentors and peers, participants learned the importance of setting goals, making positive choices, and believing in their potential.
Our reproductive health education program continued to provide critical information about adolescent health and menstrual hygiene. This knowledge empowers girls to make informed decisions and supports their overall well-being.
Collaboration with parents, teachers, and community leaders has remained central to our approach. Together, we monitor progress, encourage school attendance, and provide a supportive environment for girls to thrive.
We are encouraged by the positive outcomes we continue to see among beneficiaries, including improved attendance, greater confidence, and stronger educational aspirations. Thank you to every donor and partner who continues to support this important mission. Your contributions are helping create lasting opportunities for girls across Uganda.
