The Girl Child Foundation Uganda is grateful for the continued support that enables vulnerable girls to remain in school and pursue their dreams. During this reporting period, we provided school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and sanitary pads to girls facing significant financial challenges.
Many beneficiaries come from households where educational expenses compete with basic family needs. Through donor support, girls have been able to attend school regularly without interruption, reducing the likelihood of absenteeism and dropout.
In addition to educational assistance, we conducted mentorship and life-skills sessions focusing on self-confidence, leadership, communication, and goal setting. These activities encouraged girls to recognize their strengths and develop a positive vision for their future.
Reproductive health education also remained a key component of the project. Girls gained valuable knowledge about menstrual hygiene management and personal well-being, helping them remain healthy and focused on their studies.
We continue to witness positive changes among participants, including improved attendance, increased classroom participation, and greater motivation to succeed academically. We thank our donors and partners for investing in the future of these young girls and helping them unlock their full potential.
