The support of our donors continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable girls across Uganda. During this reporting period, The Girl Child Foundation Uganda provided school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and sanitary pads to girls facing financial barriers to education.
These essential resources have enabled beneficiaries to remain in school and continue working toward their educational aspirations. Many girls have shown improved attendance and greater commitment to their studies as a result of the support received.
Our mentorship and life-skills training sessions focused on empowering girls to develop confidence, leadership skills, and a positive outlook for the future. Participants were encouraged to set goals and pursue their ambitions despite the challenges they face.
We also delivered reproductive health education to improve awareness of menstrual hygiene and adolescent well-being. This knowledge has contributed to increased confidence and reduced school absenteeism among participants.
As we reflect on the progress achieved, we remain inspired by the determination and resilience of the girls we serve.
