Education support goes beyond providing school supplies. At The Girl Child Foundation Uganda, we take a holistic approach that addresses both educational and personal development needs. During this reporting period, we provided school fees, uniforms, books, and sanitary pads to vulnerable girls.
This assistance has helped ensure consistent school attendance and reduced the risk of school dropout among beneficiaries. Girls are now better equipped to participate in learning activities and pursue their academic goals.
Our mentorship program continued to offer guidance and encouragement through sessions focused on leadership, resilience, communication, and self-esteem. These activities helped girls build confidence and strengthen their determination to succeed.
Reproductive health education also played a significant role in promoting awareness and healthy practices among participants. Girls gained knowledge that supports their well-being and enables them to remain engaged in their education.
The positive feedback received from teachers, parents, and beneficiaries demonstrates the value of this comprehensive approach.
We thank our donors for helping us provide opportunities that are changing lives and creating brighter futures.
