The Girl Child Foundation Uganda remains committed to ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent girls from accessing education. During this reporting period, we provided school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and sanitary pads to vulnerable girls across our target communities.
This support has allowed beneficiaries to attend school regularly and participate actively in classroom activities. Access to sanitary pads has particularly helped reduce absenteeism, ensuring that girls can continue learning with dignity and confidence.
In addition, mentorship programs provided opportunities for girls to discuss challenges, share experiences, and receive guidance from positive role models. Topics covered included self-confidence, leadership, goal setting, and personal development.
Our reproductive health education sessions continued to empower girls with practical knowledge about menstrual hygiene and adolescent health. These discussions have helped participants better understand and manage issues that affect their education and well-being.
We are grateful for the generosity of our donors, whose contributions are making it possible for vulnerable girls to remain focused on learning and achieving their dreams.
