Learn While Playing
Our program for children with disabilities approaches education through a playful, participatory and inclusive methodology and approach using tools that facilitate the child's teaching-learning process.
Through this program we have been able to achieve significant progress. Children in higher grades who could not read or write have now achieved those goals since their integration into the program.
A Mother's Testimony:
“My daughter was in the fifth grade and was not able to read or write. Since she has participated in Un Mundo’s program she has been able to fulfill that dream both for her and for us, her parents. She tells us that she likes to use the visual tools that facilitators and teachers use. These tools help her to better interpret her exercises and homework. My daughter's self-esteem and security have grown. She is now more sociable and outgoing.”
To continue our work and the positive impact it has on the lives of children with disabilities and their families, we are hoping that parents will support our program by sharing its benefits with other friends and family. Through these successes we can together offer hope for the future of these children.
