The children at the Bon Center live a full life of study, sports, arts and play but also have time to cultivate private interests and moments of quiet.
Here is the story of one student who had this to say, “People have hobbies to make themselves happy sometimes dancing, music, sport. I too have a hobby and that is watering and caring for plants in the garden and just wandering around the area. I like to pour water on the plants in the morning when I have finished my exercises and in the evening when our self- study time is over.
The big garden at my hostel is very beautiful and has lots of bushes. After I water the garden I roam around to all the corners of the garden. There are many things to see. There are many different types of flowers and bushes and sometimes my friends and I play hide and seek there. The flowers look fresh when I water them and it gives me pleasure. This is the happiest part of my day.”
Thank you for your continuing interest in the Bon people.
