The Bon students that we support all come from poor families and they would not be able to get a quality education in their home communities. Many arrive at the center behind their age groups in basics such as reading. All students are encouraged to read as much as possible and to write essays, poetry, commentaries and letters.
One student said, “We all know that books are our best companions in life. They can give us new ideas, knowledge, stories. Books can help us become what we want in life maybe an engineer, a doctor or teacher. We get a wider vocabulary if we read lots of books. So don’t forget to read more and more…”
