The Tibetan Bon community in India cares for Bon children who are sent to the center to receive a quality education. There are currently 143 students at the Bon Children's Welfare Center, 61 at the nunnery, 6 at the Tibetan Medical College, 2 learning painting and incense preparation and 2 doing woodcraft and electrician training. All the students would not be able to get a good education where they live and that is why their parents or guardians send them to India to be cared for and educated.
The matching funds are only available for a limited time, so be sure to make your donations on October 7 at 12.01 pm ET! All donations are final and up to $1,000 per donor per organization is eligible for matching.
