Dear Friends,

Matching funds are available for donations made to all Creating Hope International and Afghan Institute of Learning projects on Global Giving.

TODAY ONLY 9am ET to midnight March 16th! Donate anytime within these hours, up to $1,000 per individual donor per organization.

All donations are final. The match is pro-rated so we will know the percentage of match at the end of the day, but everyone gets some matching funds from a pot of $75,000.

Project Update

The Tibetan Bon community cares for and educates 230 Bon children who have families in Tibet and Nepal or who are orphans. After they graduate from school at the Bon center some go on to higher education institutions. There are 10 former Bon Center students at the University of Varanasi, 4 at CST Mussorie, 12 studying commerce, 2 at Chandigrah College studying computers and 3 at Solan learning cooking. These youth have gained a good education and now are able to pursue university level education something that would not have been possible if they had stayed with their families in their home villages
