School break, return to activities

By Gilberto Arias | General Director

We are so happy because 22 Street working children are keep going to their dreams and hopes and learning their human rights in the Plaza Tapatia through school lessons, the MAMA AC´s lessons teach them to have a “Vida chida” (Nice living), without violence, intelligent decisions and social skills.

In this quarter, we started a campaign to help Oliver to obtain found for a surgical operation, it will help him sphincters function better. Fortunately, the surgery was successful, and he will come back to him normal activities soon. He had a few years in the project, and he is one of the most committed participants.

We had a summer break on the Plaza Tapatia point, cause the school recess, but we stay in touch with families who requires special needs, like birth certificates, health attention and school insertion. In this last activity, we made canalization of boys and girls who needs help with new scholar materials, uniforms, school homework and lunch service at our new attention center.

We will back to the streets of Guadalajara downtown in October to help more working children and their families to get a better future!
