Our population still face the government’s imposition to “stay at home”, families have lost any opportunity to generate economic resources, and stranded without food.
Fortunately, we have accompanied our population from the first day. Every four days we bring them balanced and nourishing food for the whole family.
We keep focusing our accompaniment and educational attention on our beneficiaries, even though they aren’t allowed to show up at school yet. We bring them educational support so they can maintain or advance their educational level, and also to minimize the negative impact the pandemic has on their lives and educational and personal formation.
To be more specific, this implies accompanying the children and adolescents in their educational development, which has been digitalized as a response to COVID-19. As only 1% has access to the internet at home, which makes it impossible for them to follow the online education, implying downloading and uploading their homework. Our teachers help them with the digital part of their education and make sure that all have their homework in printed versions. This way we try to minimize the educational backwardness the digitalization cause.
We have also opened a line of psychological attention for our children and adolescents, and for their families as well.
We keep following all sanitary standards regarding food deliveries and visits.
We thank you for your support and commitment to this cause, pandemic or not.
