Part of the education we provide for our children is not only funding the regular Thai school curriculum, but we have now introduced an English Program into our homes. The purpose of this program is provide children with English as their second language in order to improve their work opportunities later in life.
Given the strength of the hospitality and tourism industry sector in Thailand, an additional skill, such as English, will set our children apart from other candidates when applying for jobs – a great advantage in setting our kids up for gainful employment.
We are currently trialling this program in our Kanchanburi home and will expand it to all seven homes once completed.
