Dear GlobalGiving Family,
Thanks in part to your ongoing support 25 drums full of school supplies have arrived in Sierra Leone. Distributions to multiple schools and students will take place over the next couple of weeks.
Your generosity is helping future leaders in Sierra Leone get the school supplies they need to get their education,
You can see in the photo, the 25 drums being loaded in Johnson City, TN where their journey began to the shipping company to be transported to Sierra Leone. It can take up to three months for the drums of school supplies to get from Tennessee to Sierra Leone and then several more weeks for the school supplies to make it to each school.
Each step of the process is only possible because of generous donors like you. Thank you for donating the school supplies and help to cover the shipping costs to get them to Sierra Leone.
Our recurring donors are truly making a lasting difference. If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support as we continue to provide children in Sierra Leone with the educational resources they need to be the future leaders of Sierra Leone.
Please share this project with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
