By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Coordinator
Project Supporters,
Thanks in part to your ongoing support, new masks were distributed to students in Freetown. Each student received 5 new cloth masks to wear at school to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In Sierra Leone, it is mandatory to wear a mask when in public transports, market places, places of worship, schools, and all other public places.
Among the students that received 5 new masks were future leaders, Treasure & Franklyn. Treasure is in class 1 and hopes to become a doctor when he grows up. Franklyn is in college studying social services.
Your continued support will make a difference for future leaders in Sierra Leone. Our recurring donors are making a continuous impact and we are truly grateful for the ongoing support.
If you are not yet a recurring donor, we warmly invite you to consider setting up a recurring donation. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way.
Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
