By Amy M Baty-Herbert | Project Coordinator
The third boys’ mentoring program was held in March at the Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) Computer Lab. A total of 19 boys attended this session. Hygiene kits were distributed among mentees as a take-home package and transportation, food, and drinks were also provided to the boys.
The topic of this session was adolescent health and relationships including biological and psychosocial changes during adolescence, social and emotional changes, and healthy relationships in adolescence. The session was covered by local medical practitioner Ishmael.
Your continued support is greatly appreciated as it will enable more boys' mentoring sessions and the educational resources they need to become the future leaders of Sierra Leone. If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support.
