In Kamawornie a computer lab has been opened in the past couple of months thanks in part to your support. This computer lab serves Kamawornie and several surrounding villages by providing computer training for primary and secondary school students.
Abu, Develop Africa Sierra Leone Team Leader, said in this video-
This is the computer training Centre, right at the heart of the Kamawornie village. This Centre came into existence a couple of months ago, this Centre has so far provided training for all the secondary school pupils and for some of the primary school pupils. Aside from those numbers, we also have other villages that are benefiting from this computer facility. Therefore, providing more chairs, providing more computers and more tables will make the environment more conducive and friendly.
The primary computer teacher in Kamawornie said-
My name is Alie, I provide computer training in this village. I train 125 pupils in the Kamawornie school, and also, most primary school pupils are now joining our training, I have 15 new pupils that are also joining this computer training Centre that are coming from different villages.
Our recurring donors are truly making a lasting difference for youths and young adults are getting the computer training they need for success in today's technology-driven environment. If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support to help provide more tables, chairs, and computers for the computer lab in Kamawornie.
