By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader
We asked for your support during the #LittlexLittle to help provide students in Freetown, Makeni & Bo with school supplies.
You responded. You helped raise $549 (including GlobalGiving's matching funds).
We are truly grateful to you. To each #LittlexLittle donor, we say a heartfelt "thank you!!"
LitllexLittle funds covered school supplies for 54 students, providing them with a book bag, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons or markers, and other misc supplies (such as rulers and calculators).
Two students you helped are Alvin in the photo above and Ibrahim in the image below. Alvin is attending the B.B. Warriton Preparatory School in class two. His favorite subject is spelling and handwriting. He dreams of becoming a medical doctor when he grows up. Ibrahim is in class 4, and his favorite subject is Mathematics. He hopes to become a professional driver when he grows up.
Your support is genuinely helping students in Sierra Leone get their education and empowering them with the necessary tools to become future leaders in their communities. If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support for the future leaders of Sierra Leone.
Please share this project with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project. If you have any questions, please email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
Warmest regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
