We greatly appreciate your ongoing educational support for students in Sierra Leone. The International Day of Eradication of Poverty was on Oct 17th. Education is a proven way to alleviate poverty and bring lasting change.
Education is one of the most powerful tools in lifting excluded children and adults out of poverty and is a stepping stone to other fundamental human rights. It is the most sustainable investment.-UNESCO
Providing quality education to the future leaders in Sierra Leone is helping them to rise above poverty, and become independent and better decision-makers. It brings lasting empowerment and definite change.
One of the students your support has recently helped is Mohamed who recently received school supplies and tuition support for this school year. He is starting Senior Secondary School (SSS) this year which is equivalent to high school. His favorite subject in school is Social Studies and he loves to play football. Mohammed aspires to become a lawyer and use his legal knowledge to alleviate poverty in his community.
Our recurring donors are making a continuous impact, which provides consistent educational support to students in Sierra Leone. If you are not yet a recurring donor, we warmly invite you to consider setting up a recurring donation. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
