3670 Pencils Distributed to Students

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Stellamaris School Students received pencils
Stellamaris School Students received pencils

Thanks in part to your support, students in Sierra Leone are receiving school supplies and educational support that is aiding them in becoming future leaders in their communities. Recently, 367 class one & class two students at Stellmaris Primary School each received 10 pencils and a box of crayons or colored pencils.

The students were all very excited to receive their own pencils and crayons as you can see in this video.  The students, teachers, and parents all expressed their gratitude for the pencils, crayons, and colored pencils.

Your support is genuinely helping students in Sierra Leone get their education and empowering them with the necessary tools to become future leaders in their communities. If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support for the future leaders of Sierra Leone.

Did you know that GlobalGiving will match new recurring donations up to $200 USD at 100%?*

Help us spread the word: share this project with your friends, family, and contacts. Let them know when we work together; there is nothing we can’t accomplish!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
