Ibarray's Thankful for After School Classes

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Ibarray
Ibarray

A parent named Ibarray from Kamawornie Village has conveyed her appreciation to Develop Africa for the supplementary classes organized for the children, including her daughter Marie, after regular school hours. It's important to note that these afterschool classes come at no expense to the families, thanks to the generosity of donors like you.

Ibarray said in this video, "My name is Ibarray, born of Kamawonie, I am the mother of Marie. We thank you all for tutoring our children after class. When they arrive at home from school, they sit down together with books, reading, and writing.  We are very happy; we thank you all for that."

The additional classes have had a positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries in Kamawornie Village.  In some cases, students may feel hesitant to speak up during regular school hours, but the extra classes provide a conducive environment for open and honest interaction between students and their instructors. This platform allows students to discuss various issues, including those affecting them at home.

The support from Develop Africa and donors like you has truly made a meaningful difference in the educational journey of these students.
