By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Drums Arriving in Freetown
Drums Arriving in Freetown

We are excited to announce that the 30 drums full of school supplies that were shipped from the Develop Africa Tennessee office have arrived in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

You can watch the drums being unloaded at the Develop Africa Sierra Leone office in this video.

These supplies will make a significant difference for hundreds of students across Freetown, Kamawornie, Bo, and Makeni. From elementary to high school, students will benefit from essential items like pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, book bags, rulers, erasers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, glue, and more. Additionally, the shipment includes calculators, solar lights, teaching materials, books, Kindles, e-readers, and iPads.

Every stage of this process, from donation to distribution, is made possible by the generosity of donors like you!

Together, we're truly impacting the education of future leaders; thank you for playing a vital role in this transformative journey! If you haven't already, we warmly welcome your ongoing support through recurring donations.

For any inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
