After School Classes are Helping Kamawornie Students

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Students benefitting from after school classes
Students benefitting from after school classes

The students and parents in Kamawornie village express their gratitude to Develop Africa for their support with the extra classes organized for the children after school.

"Thank you Develop Africa for paying our after-school lesson fees. With these lessons, we are learning to read and write. Thank you.

One of the parents expresses his gratitude saying that since his kids started the after-school classes, he has seen significant improvement at school.

"I am so happy for this; we the parents are really happy for the classes and tutoring. So I tell the donors thank you."

These extra classes have created an impact on the lives of the beneficiaries living in Kamawornie village and do not cost the families anything thanks to generous donors like YOU. Sometimes students or pupils are afraid to speak when they are in school but extra classes enable the student to interact openly and honestly with their instructors including discussing issues affecting them at home.

Thank you for your support in empowering and educating future leaders in Sierra Leone. Making a monthly donation is the most effective way to help educate future leaders, but every dollar donated makes a difference!

If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warm regards,

Amy and the Develop Africa team
