Transforming Futures with Essential School Supplies

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

School supplies that were shipped from the Develop Africa Tennessee office recently arrived at the Develop Africa Sierra Leone Office in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Alimamy, a dedicated volunteer at Develop Africa Sierra Leone, expressed heartfelt gratitude for these invaluable resources:

"Hello, my name is Alimamy. I'm a volunteer at Develop Africa Sierra Leone. I'm very impressed with the supply that came in earlier and on behalf of Develop Africa we want to say thank you to all the donors that make this possible. These will help to improve the educational sector in Sierra Leone for kids that don’t have bags and also for kids that don’t have school materials to go to school. On behalf of Develop Africa we want to say thank you for promoting education in Sierra Leone."

These supplies will have a significant impact on hundreds of students across Freetown, Kamawornie, Bo, and Makeni. Students from elementary to high school will benefit from essential items such as pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, book bags, rulers, erasers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, glue, and more.

Every stage of this process, from donation to distribution, is made possible by the generosity of donors like you! Together, we're making a profound impact on the education of future leaders. Thank you for playing a vital role in this transformative journey!

If you haven't already, we warmly welcome your ongoing support through recurring donations. For any inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
