New School Year, New Possibilities for Kamawornie Students

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

Kamawornie Students with their School Supplies
Kamawornie Students with their School Supplies

The Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) team recently distributed 23 backpacks filled with essential school supplies, including pencils, pens, rulers, erasers, water bottles, crayons, sharpeners, markers, and exercise books. In addition, financial assistance was provided to help cover tuition fees for 4 students in nursery through class 6 and 19 students from junior to senior secondary school.

This effort, from gathering and shipping to distributing supplies, is made possible by the generosity of donors like you. Your contributions directly impact the lives of these students, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed as they begin the new school year.

Educational support is critical for underprivileged students, opening doors to learning and opportunities they might not otherwise have.  Families expressed their heartfelt gratitude to donors like you for helping provide school supplies and educational support to their children.

You have helped make a significant impact on students' lives, giving them the chance to achieve their dreams through education.

Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
