Dear Supporters,
We are thrilled to share this heartfelt moment with you. On September 15th, we helped provide school supplies for children at a "Back-to-School" event at CCSL Hall in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Over 30 children received much-needed school supplies. Thanks to your generous donations that helped cover the shipping and distribution costs, these students are excited and ready for the new school year!
Many of these kids come from low-income families who struggle to put food on the table for their kids.
As you can see in the photo, the children proudly displayed their new backpacks, notebooks, and other school essentials. They were filled with joy and gratitude, knowing that these supplies would enable them to start their academic year on the right foot.
One of the children even held up a sign that reads, “Thank You Develop Africa,” a message we echo on behalf of everyone at Develop Africa and the entire community.
Your contributions have made a tangible difference in the lives of these students. For many families in Sierra Leone, providing basic school supplies is a financial burden, and your support has lifted that burden, allowing the children to focus on what truly matters—their education and future.
Together, we are bridging the gap between potential and opportunity. The smiles on these children's faces are a testament to your kindness and generosity's profound impact. You have not only provided materials but also inspired hope, confidence, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to learn and succeed.
We sincerely thank each of you for participating in this journey. Your commitment to empowering education in Africa continues to change lives, one student at a time.
With heartfelt thanks,
Sylvester and the Develop Africa team
