By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader
We greatly appreciate your ongoing educational support for students in Sierra Leone. The International Day of Eradication of Poverty was on Oct 17th. Education is a proven way to alleviate poverty and bring lasting change.
Providing quality education to the future leaders in Sierra Leone is helping them to rise above poverty, and become independent and better decision-makers. It brings lasting empowerment and definite change.
One of the new students your support has recently helped is Luke who just started class one this year. One of the returning students your support has helped is Steven, who is in Senior Secondary School. Both students received school supplies and tuition support for this school year
By focusing on education, we are not only changing individual lives but also creating a foundation for economic growth, gender equality, and long-term social progress. Whether you’ve made a one-time gift or are a monthly supporter, your contributions are laying the foundation for a better future.
Together, we are investing in a generation of educated, empowered individuals who will be key to eradicating poverty in Sierra Leone and beyond.
With great appreciation,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
