Early childhood education is the cornerstone of lifelong learning and development, shaping the foundation for future academic success and personal growth. Recognizing this, teachers from Kamawornie Nursery School recently visited the Pentecostal Pre-Primary School in Freetown. This pivotal experience aimed to improve teaching methodologies and enrich the learning environment for young students in their care.

The visit offered the Kamawornie teachers an immersive experience in the daily activities of a pre-primary school. By observing how lessons are planned and delivered, they gained practical insights into creating structured yet engaging learning experiences for children. This exposure to diverse teaching approaches is invaluable for enhancing their classroom practices.

In addition to observing best practices, the visit allowed the teachers to delve into curriculum implementation and explore effective methods of student engagement. The experience emphasized the importance of creating a nurturing atmosphere where young learners feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore their potential.

The visit of Kamawornie Nursery School teachers to the Pentecostal Pre-Primary School exemplifies the positive impact of knowledge exchange. Your ongoing support empowers the education of future leaders in Sierra Leone, fostering learning from early childhood through their collegiate journeys.

Your support is making a difference!

Wishing you and yours Happy Holidays from the Develop Africa Team!
