Behind the Scenes: Packing Drums of School Supplies

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

16 drums of school supplies were recently shipped from the Develop Africa Tennessee office and are on their way to the Develop Africa Sierra Leone Office in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

These supplies will have a significant impact on hundreds of students across Freetown, Kamawornie, Bo, and Makeni. Students from elementary to high school will benefit from essential items such as pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, book bags, rulers, erasers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, glue, and more.

Every stage of this process, from donation to distribution, is made possible by the generosity of donors like you!

Together, we're making a profound impact on the education of future leaders. Thank you for playing a vital role in this transformative journey!

If you would like to make a year-end donation to help cover the shipping costs of the 16 drums, please see this appeal we recently shared

Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team

PS. Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy 2025!
