By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader
You helped bring smiles to 350 students at the Pentecostal Primary School during the Year of the Pencil distribution. Each student received a pencil pouch filled with 10 pencils and a sharpener. The teachers and parents also expressed sincere appreciation for the pencil pouches that were distributed to the 350 students.
As we celebrate the continued success of the Year of the Pencil, we are also preparing 200 backpacks full of school supplies to be distributed in September in honor of Develop Africa's 20th Anniversary.
Your continued support will help ensure that students not only have pencils, but also a backpack full of school supplies and other needed school support.
The Year of the Pencil has shown what is possible when we come together. Now, we invite you to continue this journey with us—from providing basic tools to building brighter futures.
Together, we are not just distributing supplies—we are empowering the next generation.
Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your belief in these students.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
