Educate the Future Leaders of Sierra Leone

A new group of students has begun their computer training journey at Develop Africa's Computer Lab in Sierra Leone!

The first class session welcomed our newest enrollment of students, many of whom are eager to gain the digital skills needed to succeed in today's technology-driven world. For some participants, this is their first opportunity to receive formal computer training, making this an exciting milestone in their educational journey.

During the orientation session, students were introduced to the Develop Africa Computer Training Program and learned about the courses they will complete throughout the program. Instructors explained what students can expect in the coming months, including hands-on training in essential computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other practical digital skills. They also discussed class expectations, attendance, teamwork, and the importance of consistent practice as students build their confidence and knowledge.

Access to computer education continues to be a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. By equipping students with digital literacy and workplace skills, this program helps prepare them for success in an increasingly digital world.
