At the Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) Computer Training Center in Juba Hill, Freetown, students are gaining practical computer skills that can help them pursue education and employment.
One of the foundational programs in the training center is Microsoft Word. Students learn how to create, edit, format, and organize professional documents—skills they can use long after they complete their computer training.
Rather than simply learning the functions of Microsoft Word, students put their skills into practice through assignments that mirror situations they may encounter in their education and careers.

Learning Microsoft Word gives students practical skills they can use when applying for jobs, preparing school assignments, creating business documents, or communicating professionally.
The goal of the DASL Computer Training Program isn't simply to teach students how to use a computer. It is to give them skills they can carry into their future.
