In the last few months all our partners have been busy delivering work in the communities they serve. Covering the whole of Zimbabwe, their geographical spread is as follows;
Rafiki Girls Centre: Take in vulnerable young women from in and around Harare, particularly the poorer districts. In addition, they actually take in some girls from hundreds of kilometres away. They achieve this by partnering with an organisation who helps the girls find local accommodation.
Trinity Project: Based in Bulawayo they work in Bulawayo Province and Matebeleland North Province. Particular areas of focus are the rural districts of Bubi and Umguza where poverty, food insecurity and other issues such as low birth registration are critical.
Foundations for Farming: Based on the outskirts of Harare they cover the whole country. Our most recent and upcoming work with them has been on three different schools in the rural Murewa district where farming is more achievable than some of Zimbabwe’s more arid regions, yet food insecurity and malnutrition is rife.
Thank you all for your interest and help.
