Aisha is an Educate a Girl alumni from Karachi. She's soft-spoken, big eyed and petite. However, she is an absolutely charmer. With her big smile and turn of phrase, she is immensely likeable.
However, she is struggling to get a job. Going through our Educate a Girl program helped her have substance to her education as well as improve her communication skills to reinforce her innate charm.
The job market is very competitive and with struggles and discomfort - even harrassment - sometimes while going to/from job interviews, let alone work, girls can get easily discouraged. At home, in many cases, their mothers, encourage them to give up and not suffer this way.
But many girls, like Aisha, crave outlets for their self-expression.
That is where your donation has its most value. It is not just funding education but it's making the difference between minimum studying to optimizing an entire life. Your donation is enabling a girl to dream. For the very first time.
Thank you and please do consider giving again today and spreading the word so together, we can transform lives. One girl at a time!
