On ground from Mirpukhas, Sindh, Pakistan: Upon arrival, trucks were unloaded and put in a warehouse. Our team went to the warehouse and inspected all items for damage, quality control, safe keeping and theft. As we had arrived at 6 am, there was plenty of opportunities not only for looters but also discreet thievery at any point during the process, so we kept cross-checking and monitoring.
Happy to share that not one item was damaged or stolen.
Here is a picture with some of the ration bags. Each contained flour, rice, oil, biscuits, tea and lentils, enough for one entire family for 10 days.
The packing process is very laborious but thankfully we had bought and were given a lot of manpower on the ground. The bag itself was very heavy, but recipients - whether male or female - managed.
More to come. Please do spread the word and continue to help us help those most in need now.
